The Ulcer EP teams with frustration. It's hard to tell if these two are bored to the point of anger, or angry at the homogeneity of everything around them. Arman pushes repetition, and rendered slogans through piercing and semi-slurred screams. CJ matches the energy with an industrial noise and punk energy that feels just brutal and intense as the yells on top of it. Start to finish, this record stands out like a battle cry against the monotony that has consumed our lives.
